San Diego is on the Pacific coast so what you see here is the bay area. This bridge is actually a security for our waters as well. It can actually be moved to allow our ships in and others kept out!

This bridge is one of my favorite parts of this city. It is so unique and beautiful. It's also a strange thing to drive across. You never feel 100% safe crossing it, you always feel like you're a turn of the wheel from driving off, and you can't help but sweating as you cross it. Yet, everyone does is. I used to drive it just because I could. Then turn around and drive back. Anyone who visits here should drive it. It's that kind of thrill!
