It arrived, but did she like it? (260252)

I don't know if this card was appreciated. Why? Because she left no message in the confirmation for us. However, I am cutting her some slack because she said that she didn't speak very good English, so maybe she just didn't know what to say.

For future reference, anyone who doesn't know what to say, you can say it in whatever language you would like. I can usually figure out what it means.

I took French in high school (failed miserably)

I took Spanish in college and I work around MANY Spanish speaking families (and fail miserably)

I took Latin in high school (and actually didn't excel, but didn't fail miserably either)

I took American Sign Language in college (and excelled beyond any other class I ever took)

My husbands family is Greek, so I have tried to learn to speak it (and have failed miserably).

However, I have found with all these languages that are floating around in my brain two facts:

1. I can start counting in Spanish by number 5 I'm speaking French by 9 I'm speaking Greek and by 15 no one really knows what planet I'm from.

2. I can pretty much interpret anything that is written down. I may not get it word for word, but I can figure out what it means. So go ahead, write me something in your language...I dare you!
