What does everyone else do?

So, since the majority of the readership here are from different countries, I'm curious:

Today is Halloween. I imagine that this is celebrated worldwide as it is "all hallows eve" which is actually a religious holiday. Tomorrow all the Catholics celebrate All Saint's Day. So, let's talk!

What do you all do in your countries on this day?

Here, children get dressed up in costumes and go door to door knocking and shouting "trick-or-treat" where they get pieces of candy. Of course, dressing up is not limited to the children, adults partake as well. Being on a Friday makes it even more exciting around here as there are many parties to be had.

We also carve out pumpkins, take out the seeds (and bake them to eat) and then carve faces or pictures on them. It's a big goopy fun mess.
