This is going to Taiwan. Again, the receiver is very non-specific about what she was requesting so it makes things to much easier. Balboa Park is one of my favorite places here in San Diego. I love just walking around there. The museums are nice as well, but it's just a great place to hang out.
Even with the hoopla of tourists, you can always find a quiet corner to just sit and relax. It's very photogenic and is perfect for amature and well experiences photographers alike. It's a wonderful place for artists, musicians, street performers, etc... When I nannied for a family the toddler and I would spend most of one day each weekend there. If you ever make your way out to this corner of the world, Balboa Park has to be on your must-do list.

I just recently began thinking about the notoriety of San Diego worldwide. Many of the readers to this blog come from around the world; actually there are more from outside the USA than inside. I think that's because the word of mouth is spread through our postcards. Anyway, I am curious, how notable is San Diego? Do you in other countries know of San Diego? Here in the USA, it's a notable place. You can pretty much go anywhere and say, "I'm from San Diego" and they know exactly where that is. How about in other countries?
If I were to go to France, Finland, Australia, or anywhere else (please don't hate me because I didn't mention your country) and said, "I'm from San Diego" would you know that meant the USA? Would you know that it meant the Pacific Coast? Would you know that it borders Mexico? Leave a comment below and take a vote in the sidebar.
