This great country

I am taking a moment today to recognize this great country of mine. Oh, we will get back to the regularly scheduled program later today, I do have a postcard to send after all. However, this is an important day for us.

7 years ago today, our great country was attacked. I'm guessing that anywhere you were in the world, you heard about this. Our planes were hijacked, our buildings where mutilated, our people were murdered, and our truest heroes came out (even in the face of death). Why? I don't know that I will ever completely understand; but mostly because someone, somewhere else in the world, didn't like us. To me, that's what bullies are. And we will not be bullied. We will fight back. I think we proved that.

Please, where ever you are in the world, take a moment of silence for all those people who lost their lives 7 years ago today. Pray for their families, pray for our country, pray for all those people who were touched by death, destruction, and hate on this day of tragedy.

NEVER FORGET. We can't ever forget what happened this day. It's too important.
