This is another "couples" postcrossing. That's cool. I think I am going to start another tag: couples. This way I can keep track of how many postcards we get from other couples that are doing this together (like us).
I do have to say that this postcard probably actually made it in 3 days now that I think about it. See, on Saturday I did walk to the postoffice to drop off the three postcards. However, on my way back home, I forgot to stop by our mailbox. It's where we park the cars, which is a different route than I take when walking. I didn't pass the mailbox so I didn't think about checking it. When my husband came home yesterday, he had this card in his hand and said, "Didn't you check the mailbox when you came home yesterday?"
NO! Remember, he's the one like a little kid who anxiously waits for the mailman when we are home. He will, literally, run downstairs to get the mail as soon as he sees the mailman drive away. That's one of the reasons I started this for him (us); because he loves to get mail!
All this to say that I didn't register this postcard until Sunday afternoon. I don't know if it would have made a difference in the time postcrossing said that it was sent, but I see from the postmark that it was sent September 17, which means that it was in our mailbox on the 20th, which would equal three days, right? I love math, but I'm never sure how to count days. Do I count 17, 18, 19, and 20; that would be 4 days. Or do I count 17 to 18 is 1, 18 to 19 is 2, 19 to 20 is 3? I just can't think anymore about it; my head might explode. You make your own decision.
