Why do I like sending desert cards? Because many people don't know (or forget) that we here in San Diego actually live in a desert area. This the message:Hello from San Diego, California. Many people know us for our beaches, but did you know we are also a desert? It's really a beautiful place with many landscapes (beach, mountain, desert)

So, lesson to everyone, San Diego is desert area. We are headed into another (of many) droughts. No, we never get enough rain. Just adding that bit of trivia for any of you reading who doesn't know.
