Number 16 Arrived (359978)

We sent 16 off to Switzerland. It is one of my favorite cards to send just because it has a unique look to it.

Hello Robert and Jennifer. Thank you for the postcard! I'd love to work as a
preschool teacher. It's a wonderfull job. For the moment, I'm working in a
daycare center for children aged of 3 years. You must have a sunny weather in
San Diego. We had a very snowy winter, so I'll be happy to see the sun and warm
come back. I'll give a look at your blog as soon as possible! Happy
postcrossing, take care

Apparently we made another connection to someone who works in a similar field as us. That's awesome.

I thought I'd take a moment to inform some readers about what we do. We are preschool teachers. We work in child care centers with children from 0-5 years of age (I know that in different countries and even different areas of our country, these are called different things). You will never hear me say that I work in day care. Want to know why? I take care of CHILDREN, days take care of themselves.

Oh, I will call some places day cares, but that's really an insult in this field. That's because some places do a better job caring for days than they do for children. You know the type; the type that makes out struggle that much more difficult. Those who treat this job as if they are babysitters, they ruin it for those of us who take our work seriously. We both have degrees in our field, continue our education to stay on top of new research and practices.

Anyway, enough of that, just a little insight I like to give people when the opportunity arises.
