Okay, I have to admit something, I did send stamps on the outside, but I completely forgot to put stamps on the inside of the envelope. I feel horrible because I had every intention of doing so.
My poor excuse is that I was walking to the post office and got so excited that I taped up the envelope before I left the house. I was buying more stamps at the post office because I had none at home and so in all my efficiency of getting everything together and ready for me to walk out the door...I sealed the envelope and couldn't open it to put another stamp inside.
Oh well, it looks like he appreciated the effort, right?
