This card is on the way to GERMANY to a receiver who would prefer to remain anonymous. Her exact message is:
DON'T publish my address or the content of my postcard on your blog! Respect my privacy! You are free to show the picture but please not what I write. I find that rude and disrespecting. Thank you for understanding, I'd do the same for you.
Well, I wouldn't post somebody's address, I am with her on that one. I don't know what kind of messages she sends, so I would have to think about that. I know the messages we send are pretty generic and I don't care if people post them. I figure that it just expands the connections being made around the world.
So, without telling you use the receiver will be, I will tell you that this is the card we chose to send:
Along with this message (this is my message to her, that's okay to publish, right?):
Hello from San Diego, California in the USA! We are both preschool teachers and love our jobs working with the little ones. Hope you enjoy out card.
Robert and Jennifer
Notice I didn't send our blog address; she can find it if she wants to look. It's on our profile page. But since she is so adamant about her view I figure she wouldn't appreciate this blog for what it is.
Did I take her message wrong? It just seemed to rub me the wrong way. What do you think?
