Number 3 Received (DE 291142)

This card comes to us from GERMANY. You will have to forgive my pictures. Our main computer has broken down completely and no other computer is set up to our scanner. Until then, I am back to taking pictures of the postcards with my camera. I'll work on it, I promise!


Oh, who am I kidding, my husband will work on it!

So, this is the card:
The photograph doesn't do it justice. It is a very beautiful card.

I wish the stamp came out better, too. It really is a great stamp.
The message reads:

It was nice to read your blog, I would like to say I'm crazy to and I love also to do crazy things. So I try to get new friends from all over the world and want to write them. I wish I had enough discipline in myself to have a pen pal because it would be fun; but I know me and know I would end up disappointing anyone I tried to send more correspondence than just the one. I would leave someone thinking that I didn't like them and that's not it at all. I just don't have follow through, and I never know what to say.

So, A-, if you are reading this, it's not that I wouldn't love to send you mail, truly it isn't; it's more that I am lousy at sending people anything more than these short postcards. But, after reading your profile, I do think you are a nice, interesting man.
