There coming at you fast! This is what happens when I have so many postcards requested in one day. So, let's go to Finland shall we? Well, we're not going, just the 45th card. To a woman who is requesting: wonders of the world - fields, rice, tobacco, sugarcane, wine yards etc. - folklore, culture - wild animals native to your country, plants special for your country, mushrooms - photographed teddy bears, shoes, nostalgic reproduction postcards - ceramics, e.g. "azulejos" - colours of the sea - Pippi Longstocking, Emily the Strange, childrens book illustrations - Anne Taintor - maximum postcards ... anything you would like to send. Self-made cards also welcome.
There is even a request for the type of message: I would be happy to read something about your country / culture / everyday life or something about the postcard picture
It's always difficult for me when I don't have something on hand that really jumps out, but I do have a couple (all animals):
Choice 1: We have MANY dolphins here in San Diego. You can visit the beach and see them swimming in the waves and surfers are constantly telling tales about them surfing right alongside them
Choice 2: Yes, you have seen this before, I do only have one, but we do have seals here as well. Both are native here (dolphins and seals)
Choice 2: Yes, you have seen this before, I do only have one, but we do have seals here as well. Both are native here (dolphins and seals)
That's all I got. I could make a card, I haven't tried that yet, so that could be fun. I'm making that Choice 3: make my own card. If you choose choice 3, you need to tell me what I should do; develop a picture, make a drawing or painting, I could even have one of the children at the center make something. What do you think?
Again, you have until the 10th to let me know which you think I should send, leave a comment. Be sure to include that topic of conversation I should put on the card as well!
