This one is going to a 3 year old in Finland. I am so glad to be getting to send this one. Since we are both preschool teachers, I think this is awesome. I wish I had found some Disney postcards like it says she likes, or even one of a dolphin or castle (also mentioned in her profile). However, there weren't any of those there. So, she is getting this card of Hotel Del Coronado (it's the closest thing to a castle I could find). I am sure that if she were to visit it, she would feel like she were in a fantasy world, it just has that kind of feel.
I also added a sticker of our flag. I think it's good for young children to experience different countries and their culture; and flags are representative of each country.
The message:
Hi E, This isn't a castle, but it is still very neat to visit. We are both preschool teachers and are so excited to write to you! The sticker is our country flag, the USA. Preschool children here watch Dora the Explorer on TV. What do you watch? What is your favorite toy?
